I almost judged this book by its cover which looks a bit slapdash for what is the snazzy Sutherland House standard, but its contents are nothing of the sort. Don’t Be Canada: How One Country Did Everything Wrong All at Once by the National Post columnist Tristin Hopper is the first serious attempt to come to grips with what happened in Canada in the last ten years and the rough first draft of recent history. Many of the developments, Hopper shows, have longer roots and precede the Trudeau Jr government, though they have been exacerbated to the point of absurdity during his time.
