Toronto is consulting on a new culture program, and it's just as you would imagine
Plus, the weirdness that is the ROM
The new city administration wants a new arts and culture plan for the next decade, and is consulting the “stakeholders”. If the Canadian way to (not) deal with a federal issue is to set up a royal commission (one on housing crisis must be in the works?), the municipal equivalent is embarking on a strategic plan consultation. But I shouldn’t be cynical so early in the game, even though the signs are not great.
